Former Celtic striker Andy Walker has predicted on Sky Sports website that his old side will walk out comfortable 4-0 winners at Celtic Park on Wednesday evening against Hamilton.

Brendan Rodgers will be looking to get his side back into a winning formula after tasting victory just twice in their last six league and cup outings, most recently drawing 2-2 against Neil Lennon’s Hibernian.

However, the Hoops are fully expected to extend their run of unbeaten matches to 69 north of the border, with Rodgers yet to lose a domestic match of football in Scotland.

Walker, who played for Celtic in two separate spells during his career, believes the Hoops will ease to a 4-0 win before making a huge claim about speed machine James Forrest’s contribution this season.

“The most productive player in the Premiership so far this season, tremendous contribution for the Champions,” Walker said.

The 26-year-old has scored a goal every three games with 10 strikes in 30 league and cup outings from out wide and he is expected to start once again for Rodgers side as they look to extend their lead at the top of the table.

However, manager Martin Canning and playmaker David Templeton won Scottish Premiership accolades last month, and they come into the match in decent form that has seen them recently beat Rangers as well as drawing against Hibernian and Aberdeen.
