Tottenham head coach urged to start winning trophies.

Mauricio Pochettino’s spell at Tottenham Hotspur has been everything fans could have dreamed of before he was appointed… except for silverware.
Pochettino has created a team which is set up for success for years to come, but the problem is getting over that first hurdle.
Former Spurs boss Gerry Francis has underlined that challenge, urging Pochettino to wrap up winning a trophy sooner rather than later.

Francis told The Times: “He has put together a very good team, but what he needs now is trophies.
“You can have two or three fantastic years, then have a sticky spell and the pressure is on, because people panic in the Premier League now. They are capable of challenging for things.”
What is unclear is how much pressure is actually on Pochettino from the club’s board to win silverware.
The pressure appears to be coming from outside the club, from pundits like Francis, and supporters whose ambitions are growing and do not simply want to be second best.
The Premier League looks tougher than ever this year and Spurs already sit eight points behind runaway leaders Manchester City.
