Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack is not in Steve Bruce’s good books at the moment.
Speaking on BBC Radio Five Live on Monday night, former Villa midfielder Andy Townsend had his say on Ross McCormack’s recent indiscretions, suggesting that now is the time for the 30-year-old to sort himself out.
The former Leeds United and Fulham man was called out by Steve Bruce in his press conference last week, with the Villa boss making it be known how angry he was with McCormack, after he had failed to show up for training.

He has subsequently been heavily linked with an exit from Villa Park this month, with Fulham thought to be leading the race for his signature (Sky Sports).
And Townsend, who made 134 league appearances for Villa, explained how this could be the last chance saloon for the Scotland international striker, when speaking to BBC Radio Five Live:
“He has got a choice now McCormack. He can either mope, get the hump and be all that he is being victimised. Or sort yourself out, son. I think everyone deserves a chance, but I don’t think you deserve too many.”

The 30-year-old has failed to live up to expectations at Villa Park, after making his £12 million move from Fulham in the summer, and has scored just three goals in 22 games in all competitions for his club.
And maybe selling McCormack this month with be in the best interest of both the club and the player.
