Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong takes digs at Tottenham Hotspur’s Kane and Mason
Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong invited the wrath of Tottenham fans by taking digs at two of their international stars.
Frimpong, who was sold to Barnsley just over a year ago, used his Twitter feed to comment on England’s 1-1 away draw at Italy.
The 23-year-old made reference to Harry Kane’s ‘Hurricane’ nickname, suggesting he had been anonymous during the draw.
Where’s this Hurricane

Kane was making his first ever start for England and looked bright, but was unable to find the back of the net. Perhaps his best moment was a dangerous second half cross for Wayne Rooney from which the captain almost scored.
He managed three shots on goal, landing two on target, but Gianluigi Buffon stood tall on both occasions.
Frimpong would also give a backhanded compliment to Ryan Mason who made his debut, choosing to insult his club instead.
Happy for Ryan Mason..just needs to stop playing for Tottenham and he will go far

Frimpong is currently playing for FC Ufa, who are 11th in the Russian Premier League. He himself has one international cap for Ghana.
