Paul Dickov has claimed that Thiago Alcantara is in the ‘form of his life’ for Liverpool, as he told the Football Show on Sky Sports.
The 31-year-old midfielder has been running Liverpool’s midfield in the Premier League like a waiter at a restaurant, he will serve you what you want, and most of the time, on a plate.
Whilst the former Bayern Munich and Barcelona man has been outstanding this season, there is no doubt that his game has gone up a few more levels in recent weeks.
Some would argue, against Manchester United last week, he perhaps produce his best performance since Jurgen Klopp brought him to the club for £20 million (BBC Sport).
Either way, ex-Manchester City man Dickov is loving what Thiago is bringing to the table, as he applauded the player’s qualities.
“Thiago in midfield, he has come into the form of his life,” said Dickov. “He has been a fantastic player for years and years and years.
“Jurgen Klopp has been able to rotate it quite a lot now without it weakening the team.
“In previous seasons, if they wanted to rotate, then the team didn’t look as strong.”

Thiago started Liverpool’s Merseyside derby win over Everton at the weekend, but now they are turning their attention to the Champions League matters.
Will Jurgen Klopp rotate the player or continue to start him and perhaps rest him at the weekend?
Either way, this quadruple-chasing manager has some serious calls to make and, at this moment in time, he is getting them spot on.
Of course, winning helps, regardless of what he decides, but this is where he might have to make a few changes to rotate his side.
