So, another Premier League game has bitten the dust after it was announced that Aston Villa vs Burnley had been postponed.
The clash at Villa Park has been called off due to an increased amount of positive COVID-19 tests in the Aston Villa squad.
After hearing the news, Trezeguet decided to step out onto the Villa Park pitch, where Jeff Stelling commented on his behaviour.
What’s the story?
Well, the Sky Sports presenter noticed the £8.75m man jogging around Villa Park cutting a “forlorn figure” after the match was postponed.
Trezeguet looked fairly glum, as he tried to make the most of his time inside the stadium before he, Steven Gerrard and the rest of the Villans squad left.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Stelling said: “Maybe today would’ve been the day when he was coming back, who knows? Well, he cuts a forlorn figure, but actually, he’s making the most of it isn’t he?”

In truth, it must’ve been a real blow for the 27-year-old, as it was set to be his first Premier League game back amongst the first-team.
Trezeguet has just spent around eight months on the sidelines, after suffering a serious knee injury in the 2-1 defeat to Liverpool back in April.
Trezeguet must use Aston Villa vs Burnley as motivation
Stelling is right – Trezeguet did look quite upset.
However, he must channel that emotion properly, and use it as motivation to become even sharper ahead of Aston Villa’s next game.

The Villans welcome Chelsea to Villa Park on Boxing Day, which will certainly be a tough encounter.
Having said that, if Trezeguet nets the winner, he will forget all about the sadness of today’s postponement in no time.
