The Owls’ development squad recorded another big win on Monday.

Forgotten men Darryl Lachman and Sergiu Bus were both on target in Sheffield Wednesday Under-21s’ 6-0 win at Hallam on Monday.
The pair, along with French defender Claude Dielna, have been transfer listed by Owls’ head coach Carlos Carvalhal, the Sheffield Star reported on Friday.
Could the pair’s displays prompt a Carvalhal rethink?
However, their displays against the Northern Counties East Division One side may force the Portuguese to consider a rethink.
USA Under-20 international James Murphy opened the scoring for the Owls, before goals from Bus and Sean Clare left them 3-0 up at the break.
Lachman then headed in a fourth, before Devante Rodney’s penalty and an own goal rounded off the scoring at Sandygate.
As well as summer signings Elliot Percival, Charlie Hayford and Murphy, Wednesday’s line up also featured ex-Leeds United defender Jake Skelton, who was released by the Elland Road outfit in May.

The 20-year-old represented the Whites from Under-10 level up and travelled on the club’s pre-season tour of Italy two summers ago.
However, it is unclear if Skelton has in fact signed for the Owls, or whether he is on trial at Hillsborough.
