It’s been a long, long wait for Cedric Soares, but hopefully he’ll make his Arsenal debut this month.

The Southampton right-back joined the Gunners on a half-season loan in January, but injury prevented him from making his bow.

And when he was finally fit, Soares, who was expected to be in the squad to face Manchester City in March, was left disappointed after the Premier League season was suspended.

But that postponed fixture is set to take place on June 17, and the forgotten Arsenal man has posted a message on Twitter indicating that he’s finally fit.

Here’s how fans of the North London side responded to him on social media:

Hector Bellerin has been up and down in terms of form under Arteta.

But having the Portugal defender fit again should give his Spanish counterpart a bit of a kick up the backside in regards to keeping his place.
