Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with a move for Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jorgensen, with The Mirror (November 15 printed edition, page 48) claiming the Championship leaders want him to bolster their attacking options.

Landing Jorgensen, who scored 25 goals in all competitions for the Dutch champions last season after a move from FC Copenhagen, would be quite the coup for a club in the second tier of English football.
However, should Newcastle United be using their Premier League status to try and win the race to sign the 26 year old themselves – especially considering their struggles in attack this season?

Benitez could do with a player like Jorgensen, who helped Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title last term and has experience in the Europa League and Champions League, and although Wanderers look on course to reach the top tier, Newcastle are already there and could use that to their advantage.
