Liverpool continue to be linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic.

Liverpool are regularly linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic, and those links have returned over the last week.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was in charge of Dortmund when they landed Pulisic in 2015, and the American talent has been touted for a move to Liverpool ever since.
In 2017, Pulisic noted to Four Four Two that he respects Klopp but didn’t intend to follow him to Liverpool at that time. Now though, things may be about to change.
Pulisic is about to enter the final 18 months of his deal with Dortmund, and given that he is very unlikely to sign a new deal, he will surely be sold in 2019.
The Mirror reported over the weekend that Liverpool are ready to sell summer signing Fabinho in order to fund a big move for Pulisic, reuniting Klopp with one of the young talents around.
However, it shouldn’t be Fabinho sacrificed for Pulisic – it’s Divock Origi. The Belgian forward has yet to make a single Premier League appearance this season and is almost certainly be sold in January.

One club interested in Origi over the summer were Dortmund, according to The Telegraph, and whilst no deal went through, they may well still be keen on attempting to kickstart his career in 2019.
Origi is valued at around £20million, and offering him in a part-exchange deal for Pulisic could bring the price down and allow Liverpool to gain an advantage over rival clubs interested in the winger, and that should be their priority rather than giving up on Fabinho already.
