Gary Neville has claimed that Leeds will ‘always concede five or six’ goals at Old Trafford, as he told Webby and O’Neill’s Youtube channel.

The TV pundit told the Manchester United fan channel to ‘forget about Leeds’, as they were discussing the Red Devils chances in the Premier League title race and how they have started off the new campaign.

Leeds faced their bitter rivals on the opening day of the Premier League season and they were comfortably beaten 5-1.

This comes after conceding six at the very same place last season without any crowd.

Whilst Neville admitted that he ‘loves watching’ Leeds in action, he couldn’t help but brutally mock them and how they will ‘always’ fare when they visit Old Trafford in the future.

“Forget Leeds,” said Neville. “Honestly, forget Leeds. This Manchester United team are perfect for Leeds. I did the game last year where Leeds played well.

“But they got beat, 6-2 was it? Leeds will always concede five or six out here with the way they play. I mean we will rip them to shreds.

“Forget them. I love watching them, by the way. But we are perfect for them.”

Marcelo Bielsa is adored by the Leeds faithful, but one massive negative will be how they have performed at Old Trafford for the past two seasons.

Both with and without crowds, Leeds’ gung-ho ways and man-marking style has fallen into the hands of their rivals.

At Elland Road last season, they showed a more robust style, and come the reverse fixture during this campaign, it will surely be a different story.

It has been nearly 20 years since the Whites have been able to play Man United, at Elland Road, in England’s top-flight and with a full crowd behind them.

One thing is for sure, Bielsa’s side won’t be conceding five or six here.
