West Ham United should make a bold move for the Liverpool ace this summer.
West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has a lot of work to do at West Ham this summer, if he is to build a squad who are capable of making a sustained push for the Europe League spots this season.
The Chilean has already been active in the transfer market, bringing in Issa Diop for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £22 million, and Ryan Fredericks on a free transfer, but his business is far from being complete.
One of the Hammers’ key targets is Brazilian ace Felipe Anderson, but they have been rocked by Lazio’s reported £50 million demands for the winger, according to Goal.
With this in mind, West Ham should forget about bringing the Lazio star to the London Stadium, and instead focus on making Liverpool’s Adam Lallana their marquee signing this summer.

The 30-year-old joined the Reds from Southampton in the summer of 2014, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £25 million, and he has gone on to chalk up 21 goals and 20 assists in 140 appearances in all competitions.
Lallana struggled for game-time at Anfield last season, however, with injuries hampering his progress, and with Liverpool strengthening further still this summer, his first-team chances will surely be limited even more so.
With this in mind, the 34-capped England international could surely be tempted into a move to West Ham, if given the guarantee of regular first-team action.
Lallana is incredibly skilful, and can play anywhere along the front-line, as well in a more deeper role as part of a midfield three.
He would be a superb signing for the Hammers, and if Pellegrini manages to bring him to east London this summer, it could turn out to be a real coup for the club.
