Liverpool need to look at Lyon’s Houssem Aouar.

Liverpool came close to signing Lyon attacker Nebil Fekir in the summer and the Frenchman’s future remains unclear.
He was in sparkling form this weekend, and if Liverpool were keeping an eye on him, another top talent may have caught the eye.
Fekir set up the goal against Bordeaux which was scored by emerging Lyon talent Houssem Aouar.

Aouar’s goal was his fourth goal of the season in 12 appearances, with 10 starts.
It is an impressive scoring rate for a central midfielder. Aouar’s versatility has also seen him play in left midfield too this season.
This is Aouar’s second full year at Lyon, after he netted seven goals last season.
Aouar, 20, is five years younger than Fekir and he is a player who could fit in well at Liverpool as a potential successor to Georginio Wijnaldum.
Signing him won’t be easy, it never is with Lyon players. Aouar signed a five-year contract in July.
At present he is only a France under-21 international. If Liverpool make a move early, it would be cheaper for the Reds to try and bring him in now before an inevitable full cap follows.
