Federico Fazio has been winning high praise with his performances at Roma this season, with the Argentine on loan currently from Tottenham Hotspur.
Fazio, 30, has been a regular for the Serie A side and helped them reach the Europa League last 16.
His future seems destined to lie away from Tottenham Hotspur, but will another Serie A side attempt to beat Roma to his signature?
Former Inter Milan defender Francesco Colonnese believes they should attempt to do so, and argues Fazio is even better than Roma’s Kostas Manolas, previously touted as another option.
Manolas is valued at a staggering £52 million, The Metro reported earlier this year.

Colonnese said: “He’s [Manolas] a good defender, but I’m not crazy from the defensive point of view.
“At Roma Fazio and Rüdiger have more form, I’d look at one of these. They are superior to Manolas right now.”
Fazio would also come a lot cheaper than Manolas, and Roma do not have the final say over his future, unlike Rudiger and Manolas who they own.
