The one-time City Ground loanee is now at Pride Park but was poor for the Rams against Bristol City.

A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Kieran Dowell’s display for Derby County in the 2-1 Championship loss to Bristol City at Pride Park on Tuesday night.
The Everton midfielder played 43 games on loan at Forest during the 2017-18 season, scoring 10 goals and registering five assists (Transfermarkt), while last term, he made 16 appearances for the Blades, helping them win promotion to the Premier League.
Now on loan at Derby, Dowell has struggled at times for Phillip Cocu’s side and, against the Robins, he put in a largely lacklustre performance that earned him a mere 4 out of 10 rating in the Derby Telegraph.
Here is what was said on social media by some Reds fans:
Dowell has come through the ranks at Everton but to this day he has made just five appearances for the senior side, according to Transfermarkt.
Derby will lock horns with Forest three times this season, the first East Midlands derby of the season taking place next Tuesday at the City Ground in the Carabao Cup, then in the Championship – again in Nottingham – on 9 November, and the reverse league fixture takes place at Pride Park on 4 April next year.
