The Reds utility player flattered to deceive for the City Ground side as they came back from behind to claim a point at The Valley.

A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Matty Cash’s performance in Wednesday night’s 1-1 Championship draw at Charlton Athletic.
With Joe Lolley omitted from the Reds squad due to a knock he picked up before the Birmingham City game, Cash was deployed further up the pitch by Sabri Lamouchi.
However, the £3.6million-rated man (Transfermarkt) ended up making very little impact in the game, with one especially lacklustre moment in the second half when he had the chance to set up Lewis Grabban inside the six-yard box, but he hesitated for too long and was tackled.
Here is some of what was said by the Trickies fanbase about the 22-year-old on social media:
Forest fell behind at The Valley in the 18th minute as Lyle Taylor beat Aro Muric with a finely-placed header into the bottom corner of his net, the on-loan Manchester City goalkeeper having done well beforehand to keep out efforts from Jonathan Leko and Conor Gallagher.
The Reds were then unfortunate not to be awarded a penalty midway through the second half when Sam Field brought down Sammy Ameobi with a challenge that appeared to be just inside the area, but a free kick outside the box was instead awarded.
However, Forest clawed themselves back into the game late on, subsequently leaving with a point, as Charlton failed to clear their lines from a corner and Albert Adomah duly rifled home the equaliser from close range.
