The Reds boss is believed to be on the brink of dismissal but some Forest fans think the prospect of his sacking is “madness”.

Aitor Karanka is rumoured to be on thin ice at Nottingham Forest, with reports suggesting he is on the brink of the sack.
The Reds capitulated in their last Championship game, leading Norwich City 3-0 at Carrow Road on Boxing Day with less than 20 minutes to go.
However, the Canaries struck three times in the latter stages of the game – Onel Hernandez bagging a brace in injury time – for a final score of 3-3.
That result left Forest just three points off the playoff places and without a win in four games, and as a result, it seems like the vultures may be circling around Karanka.
According to The Telegraph, Karanka was under strict instructions by the Forest board to secure a place in the playoffs by January 1, and failure to achieve this may result in his sacking.
Some Forest fans aren’t pleased about the speculation, however, especially given the club has a track record of short managerial tenures in recent times, and some took to Twitter to voice their concerns:
Forest return to Championship action on Saturday with a trip to Millwall before hosting Leeds United at the City Ground on New Year’s Day.
