Sabri Lamouchi’s Reds will lock horns with the Gunners at the Emirates next month after Derby were demolished at the City Ground.

A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the Carabao Cup third round draw, which has given the Reds a bumper tie away at Arsenal.
Sabri Lamouchi’s charges reached this stage of the competition in the best possible way, wiping the floor with Derby County as goals from Albert Adomah, Joe Lolley and the returning Joao Carvalho ensured a straightforward 3-0 victory at the City Ground on Tuesday night.
Forest’s game with the Gunners will be the third time the two sides have met in the last three years, both prior times in cup competition at the City Ground – the League Cup game in 2016 saw a 4-0 loss for the Reds but the FA Cup clash in 2018 yielded a famous 4-2 victory for the Trickies (11v11).
With Forest having begun the season – Championship and League Cup – quite brightly, quite a few of the fans fancy their chances in the capital and some took to social media to bang the drum following the draw:
Up next for the Reds is another home game as they welcome Preston North End to the City Ground in the Championship this Saturday, while the Carabao Cup clash will take place in the week beginning 23 September.
