The EFL has announced that the Reds’ Championship home game with the Rams has been moved to Monday night.
The EFL has confirmed that the Championship fixture between Nottingham Forest and Derby County at the City Ground has been rescheduled due to television coverage.
There was some uproar among fans – as reported by the Derby Telegraph – after the reverse league fixture between the two sides at Pride Park was moved to a Monday for live television coverage in December.
Derby’s trip to Nottingham was originally due to take place on Saturday, February 23, for a lunchtime kickoff, but as with the first fixture, it has suffered the fate of being shifted to a weekday and will now be played on Monday, February 25.
The news, which has been shared by the EFL Twitter page as well as the two teams’ websites and social media accounts, was not received well by sections of both fanbases.
