Forest boss Karanka praises Sheffield United’s Jamal Blackman

Chelsea-owned Jamal Blackman played well for Sheffield United against Nottingham Forest in the Championship.

Nottingham Forest manager Aitor Karanka has told BBC Nottingham Sport that Sheffield United goalkeeper Jamal Blackman was the best player during the two sides’ game.

Forest played out a goalless draw with United away from home at Bramall Lane in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Blackman, who joined the Blades on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Chelsea in the summer of 2017, played well for the home team and made a number of good saves.

Forest manager Karanka was impressed with the performance of the 24-year-old English goalkeeper, who earns £416,000 per year as salary according to Spotrac.com.
