HITC Sport understands Championship duo are tracking Oldham defender Hunt.

Nottingham Forest and Wigan Athletic are eyeing a move for Oldham Athletic defender Rob Hunt, HITC Sport understands.
Hunt has caught the eye for Oldham since joining the club in the summer from Brighton & Hove Albion.

The versatile full-back joined Oldham on a permanent basis after a successful loan spell at Boundary Park last season, where he helped them secure survival in League One.
Hunt came through the ranks at Brighton and made eight first-team appearances for the Seagulls before opting to leave last summer in search of regular first-team football.

The 22-year-old made 37 appearances in all competitions for Oldham this season and was one of their standout performers despite their relegation from League One.
Oldham face a battle to keep hold of Hunt in the wake of their relegation and with the player understood to have a £300,000 release clause in his contract at Boundary Park his suitors are ready to pounce for his signature.
The defender’s versatility in that he can play right-back or left-back has made him an attractive proposition to Forest and Wigan as they look to strengthen their defensive options at full-back for next season.
