Harry Redknapp has backed Tottenham Hotspur to win the Premier League title before Arsenal on the Harry Redknapp podcast.
Tottenham and Arsenal both seem a way off the pace in this season’s title race.
But Redknapp sees more potential in Tottenham’s current squad, and suggests that Mikel Arteta needs plenty more additions before Arsenal can be considered genuine title contenders.
“At the moment Spurs! You’ve got to fancy Tottenham,” he said.
“I honestly think they’re miles away [Arsenal]. He can only do what he can do, he needs more good players. He needs two or three good players into that team and strengthen the team. At the moment they’re well short, they’re not as good as Tottenham, that’s for sure.”
Tottenham actually looked to be in the title race this season, but a recent stumble has seen them fall away.

Spurs have failed to show their best in recent weeks, and have now won just one of their last four Premier League matches.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have improved – but their mini-revival was halted by Wolves last night, who beat them 2-1.
That leaves Tottenham still ahead of Arsenal in the league table, with Jose Mourinho’s side in sixth and the Gunners in 10th spot.
