Harry Redknapp told Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports (13/02/21 at 1:45 pm) that he doesn’t think Everton will finish in the top six this season.
The former Premier League boss thinks Everton have ‘done well’ but he is ‘sure’ they won’t make the top four and thinks they will finish ‘just outside the six again’.
Everton host relegation-threatened Fulham tonight and a win will take them level on points with their faltering neighbours, who are sitting in fourth and have thus far played three more games than them.
Nonetheless, Redknapp shared his thoughts on the blue half of Merseyside and whether they can secure Europe this term.
“Everton have done ever so well, haven’t they?” said Redknapp. “They have spent money and they have brought in a top manager in Ancelotti.
“I don’t see them making Champions League, for sure. But they could sneak into the top-six. But I still think they might just miss out on that, to be honest. I can see them finishing again just outside the six.

Into the next round of the FA Cup, the European places in their own hands, an England international scoring goals for fun and a world-class manager at the helm.
This is by far Everton’s best opportunity to, not just secure a top-seven finish, but Champions League football.
A collapse of high magnitude will only result in them not playing European football with their trophy-laden coach next season, whether that’s the Europa League or Champions League.
