Erik Lamela has posted on Instagram that it was ‘special’ for him to play against Tottenham during their pre-season friendly draw against Sevilla.
Tottenham’s pre-season tour of South Korea concluded with a game against the La Liga giants, with Lamela starting on the right-wing – Harry Kane and Ivan Rakitic both scored in the second half.
Lamela told Spurs fans on his IG ‘I wish you all the best for next season’, as his former teammate, Davinson Sanchez, reacted in the comments section by saying: “Good to see you, friend. All the best this season.”

It has been a strong summer so far for those in Spurs colours and the results and performances are matching it out on the pitch.

The last time Daniel Levy appointed a trophy-laden coach, he ended up sacking him one week before a League Cup final.
That’s not going to happen to Conte, but just like Jose Mourinho, the club can’t afford to have to trophy-winning coach enter and leave empty-handed.
Spurs have concluded a number of healthy deals this summer, but at the end of it, the best they can do is having Conte sign a new contract, as well as their star man, Harry Kane.
So, from the perspective of the fans, the best deals of the summer could yet be around the corner.
