Harry Kane has been getting all sorts of plaudits this season and the latest comes from an Arsenal player – for something the Tottenham Hotspur hitman did off the pitch.

With 13 goals and 10 assists from 14 games across all competitions, the Spurs attacker is quite simply in the form of his life.

But Kane is clearly a class act away from the field too after Arsenal teenager Bukayo Saka revealed what he did for the youngster on international duty with England.

The 19-year-old made his debut for the Three Lions last month and the youngster has admitted that the Tottenham striker helped him to ‘settle much quicker’ by throwing an arm around him and coaching him through his anxiety.

Saka told Sky Sports: “Harry Kane put his arm around me, he spoke to me and asked me how I was. For him to do that, it helped me settle in much quicker and made me feel comfortable to be myself around everyone.

“That helps me not just off the pitch but also on the pitch too, because I feel like I can be myself, express myself and play with the confidence that I play with back at my club.”

Kane clearly has leadership qualities in spades and there’s few better professionals for Saka to learn from.

Despite not featuring heavily for Arsenal as of late, Saka was called up by Gareth Southgate again for games against the Republic of Ireland, Belgium and Iceland shortly.

At 19, he is one of England’s most talented teenagers after scoring four goals and setting up another 11 in all competitions last term.
