Kaveh Solhekol has told Sky Sports News on Wednesday evening that Daniel Ek will officially bid for Arsenal ‘in the next few days’.
But the Sky reporter shared that the Spotify owner knows that the offer, which is expected to be worth ‘up to £2bn’, will be ‘rejected’ by the Kroenke’s.
It could be a crazy few days and weeks for the Arsenal fans, who are heading towards a potentially disastrous season on the field, so they are hoping for some much-needed lift off it.
Nonetheless, Solhekol shared an insight into Ek making his move in trying to take over his boyhood club.
“He is going to make this offer now,” said Solhekol. “We understand this offer is going to be worth up to £2bn.
“That offer is going to go in the next few days, maybe early next week. We know, for certain, that offer will be rejected.
“But Daniel Ek knows that already. He knows that Stan Kroenke has said that ‘the club isn’t for sale’. But he’s in it for the long haul. Even if this offer is rejected. He isn’t going to go away.”

Arsenal fans feelings towards the American’s running their club is pretty clear and that will never be repaired.
The decline of Arsenal, coincidently, started when they first took over the North London giants, and as they sit tenth in the Premier League table, there aren’t any real signs of progression.
Whilst Mikel Arteta might take the blows if they get knocked out of the Europa League to the man they sacked nearly two years ago, the real problem lies with those upstairs.
And until they move on, whether through their own will, or being forced, then Arsenal football club may just continue to decline.
