The Newcastle United striker would be a useful addition to the Fulham squad this summer.
The Cottagers were so close yet so far to securing promotion to the Premier League last season, and Slavisa Jokanovic will surely be looking to bolster his options over the next few weeks, as he looks to guide his side to the promised land this time around.
One particular area where the Serbian will want to improve upon is his attacking department, with a lack of established goal scorers amongst the Fulham squad surely beginning to become a concern for him.
With this in mind, the west London outfit should consider joining the race for Magpies hitman Daryl Murphy, who is available for around £3 million, according to the Northern Echo.

The 34-year-old Republic of Ireland international is highly experienced in playing at Championship level, and boasts an impressive goalscoring record of 50 goals in 127 league games during a three year spell with Ipswich Town from 2013-2016.
Murphy is not, nor never has been, the quickest, but he possesses an intelligent football brain, and that combined with his nouse and know-how in and around the penalty box more than makes up for his lack of pace.
The Newcastle man is incredibly strong, and accomplished in the air, which makes him a huge threat form set pieces. He is comfortable when playing with his back to goal, and can operate the lone striker role with aplomb.
For just £3 million, the Irishman seems like an absolute steal, and if Jokanovic manages to bring him to Craven Cottage this summer, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Fulham.
