Hull City’s Tom Huddlestone is being pursued by West Brom
According to a recent report from The Sun, West Brom are interested in signing Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone this summer and may be able to sign him for a bargain fee.
The Sun reported that the the 30-year-old has a relegation release clause in his contract at the KCOM Stadium that would allow him to leave the Tigers for just £2 million this summer, so it is hardly surprising that Tony Pulis is keen to make a move.

Though Huddlestone experienced relegation last season, he is arguably the kind of solid and consistent performer that the Baggies need as they not only try to add quality, but also try to add some much-needed depth to their ranks.
Pulis’ men seemed to run out of steam this past season and that appeared to prove costly as their form tailed off in fairly dramatic fashion, leaving them clinging on to their top-half finish, just five points above 17th place Watford.

It could certainly be argued that the lack of options within the Baggies’ squad contributed to their slump, and thus, while a move for a player like Huddlestone may not capture the imagination amongst the Albion supporters, it appears to be a very wise one, especially as the fee will certainly not hurt their transfer funds too much at all.
The former Tottenham man can help the side maintain the control and stability that Pulis’ teams are synonymous with, and his arrival would surely leave more than enough money in the kitty for the Baggies boss to potentially concentrate on recruiting some much more exciting players who can make a significant impact further up the pitch.
