It’s been a rollercoaster of a season for Sebastien Haller, as the former West Ham star last night made UEFA Champions League history with Ajax.

The Ivory Coast attacker scored his ninth goal of the Champions League group stage, making Haller the first player in this edition of the competition to hit that figure in their first five games of competing in the tournament.

Haller has been in outstanding form for Ajax this campaign. With the ex-Irons attacker currently on 18 goals in all competitions for the Dutch giants this season.

Whilst West Ham are also flying in both the Premier League and Europe, it is starting to become a little bit ridiculous how impressive Haller’s form has been for Ajax.

Michail Antonio has led the line for West Ham in impressive fashion, but the Jamaican international’s goal tally pales in comparison to Haller, who is now the joint-top scorer in the Champions League this season.

And with Ajax now cruising to the Round of 16, Haller has a chance to add even more goals to his tally in the Champions League. And West Ham fans on social media are stunned over their former attacker’s form.
