Dominic Solanke hasn’t played a single minute for Liverpool in any competition this season.

The Daily Mail have claimed that the Football Association remain very ‘anxious’ about Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke.
The 21-year-old hasn’t kicked a ball for the Reds all season long, in any competition.
Solanke, who joined from Chelsea in 2017, has only been named in one of Jurgen Klopp’s squads for a competitive game this season – a League Cup defeat by his old club.
And according to The Daily Mail, the FA are growing increasingly concerned about his inactivity under Klopp.
At 21, Solanke, who only managed one goal in 21 Premier League outings last term, really needs to be playing on a regular basis, for the sake of his ongoing development.
That being said, he scored twice for England Under-21s on Tuesday, as Aidy Boothroyd’s side thumped Denmark 5-1 in a friendly.
His second indicated that he is hardly lacking confidence, despite his limited action at Liverpool, as Solanke scored a brilliant backheel to make it 3-1.
Here is how Gary Lineker reacted to the goal:
Solanke has now netted four goals for the Young Lions during this international break, but it’s unlikely to lead to a change over his situation at club level, it must be said.
