Arsenal fans must be in dreamland right now. After a shaky start against Wolves, the Gunners turned things around thanks to a late flurry of goals.

Nicolas Pepe struck an equaliser in the 82nd minute, before Alexandre Lacazette forced José Sa into scoring a 95th minute own goal.

However, some Arsenal fans might’ve enjoyed what Granit Xhaka did to Raul Jimenez just as much as their late winner.

What’s the story?

Well, after taking the lead in the 10th minute, Wolves proceeded to waste a lot of time at the Emirates Stadium.

Jimenez was guilty of doing just that when he was substituted by Bruno Lage.

The £30m man wanted to leave the pitch on the far side, for some reason, when it would’ve made more sense to head towards the dugout.

Aware of what Jimenez was up to, Xhaka reacted angrily by pushing the Mexican off the field himself, not once, but twice.

Eventually, the Wolves No.9 was booked, and relented.

You can see footage of the incident below.

Xhaka may divide opinion at times, but he clearly cares a lot about Arsenal.

Arsenal showed bravery against Wolves

With seconds ticking away against a very strong Wolves side, it would’ve been easy for Arsenal to panic and start hoofing balls into the box.

However, the Gunners stuck to their principles and showed just how intensely Mikel Arteta has drilled his philosophy into them.

In the buildup to Lacazette’s shot, we see Bukayo Saka, Pepe, and Martin Ødegaard play some wonderful football, which isn’t an easy thing to do at that stage of the game.

The Gunners were aware that this was their last attack, and they had to make it count – they certainly did just that.

To come from behind against a Wolves team who are enjoying a fine season speaks volumes – at last, it looks like Arsenal are going somewhere.
