The manager has failed to settle on a consistent attacking core in the new campaign; often tinkering and switching the alignment of his three attacking figures behind the main striker.
Marko Arnautovic, Ibrahim Afellay, Xherdan Shaqiri, Jonathan Walters, Charlie Adam and Peter Odemwingie have all been tried and tested in the three attacking midfield roles, yet a consistent trio is still to be put in place.
Speaking in an interview with the Sentinel, Bojan insisted that he is now just waiting on the word from his manager to kick-start his Premier League career again.
“I don’t know when it will be that I can make my first start, but I am ready,” the ex-Barcelona man said. “I feel really good and I’m training really hard.”
