Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun has been urged to sign a new contract by Gunners supporters, after he posted a clip of his goal against Everton’s under-23 side earlier this week on Twitter.
Balogun netted a brilliant solo effort in Arsenal’s last development squad match, to serve as a reminder of his quality.
The youngster has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in Arsenal’s academy system right now.
However, his future at the Emirates Stadium is very uncertain.
Mikel Arteta has always said that Balgoun does want to stay at the club, but still no contract has been signed.
And Arsenal fans are hoping that he commits his future to the club sooner rather than later.
Unfortunately for Balogun he seems to have slipped further away from the first-team at Arsenal, rather than move closer to it in recent months.
The youngster was occasionally the bench for the Gunners in the early part of the campaign, but he is now struggling to make the match day squad.
Whether such a lack of first-team football will put him off penning a new deal remains to be seen.
But if Balogun is allowed to leave there will certainly be a host of clubs chasing his signature this summer.
