Folarin Balogun has raved about Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka and has said that the Gunners youngster is an “inspiration”.
Balogun, who is on loan at Reims from Arsenal at the moment, has told Ligue1.com that he has been impressed by how well Saka is doing for the Gunners now.
The 21-year-old England international winger has established himself as a key player for Arsenal and for England.
Saka has scored 28 appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season.
The forward has scored 12 goals and given 10 assists in those games.
Folarin Balogun on Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka
Balogun said when asked about Arsenal this season: “Every time I turn on my phone and I see their scores, and I just see some of my friends, obviously I still speak with them, and yeah, I’m buzzing for them.
“A lot of them have worked so hard, and I’ve seen it over pre-season. They deserve it, to be where they are. I just hope they can bring it over the line.
“I’ve grown up with Bukayo [Saka], especially, since maybe the age of 13s, 14s, and to see what he has achieved in the first team, I take inspiration from that.”

HITC Verdict: Gem of a player
In our view, Bukayo Saka is one of the best young players around, and Arsenal are a better team with him in it.
The winger plays consistently well and always gives his all on the pitch.
Saka has steadily progressed over the years.
And it is scary to think that he is only 21.
Can you image how good Saka will be when he is 24 or 25?
Arsenal have a real gem on their books.
Saka has the potential to become world class in the coming years.
And we think that he will.
