Folarin Balogun is flourishing away from Arsenal at the moment, and the striker scored for Middlesbrough again this weekend, leading Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones to praise him on Instagram.

Balogun joined Middlesbrough on loan from Arsenal in the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old striker struggled for playing time under Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, but he is doing well at Boro in the Championship.

The England Under-21 striker for Middlesbrough in the 4-0 win against Peterborough away from home in the Championship this past weekend.

Balogun found the back of the net in the 49th minute and could have scored in the first half as well.

The striker has scored three goals and given two assists in seven Championship starts for Boro.

In our opinion, Balogun would be a better player after his loan spell at Middlesbrough.

The striker is getting regular playing time now, and he is also playing in a very tough and competitive domestic league.

The youngster would be better prepared for Arsenal when he returns to London Colney for pre-season training ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

In our view, despite being sent out on loan, Balogun does have a long-term future at Arsenal.
