Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has raved about his Gunners teammate Martin Odegaard in The Mirror ahead of the Premier League match against Graham Potter’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in London on Sunday.
Ramsdale has been very impressed by how Arsenal and Norway international attacking midfielder Odegaard is doing at the moment.
The England international goalkeeper has noted how the 23-year-old former Real Madrid player is similar to former Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang left Arsenal in the middle of last season, and after a short spell at Barcelona, the striker moved to Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Aaron Ramsdale on Arsenal teammate Martin Odegaard
Ramsdale said: “It won’t be too weird facing Auba. I played against former team-mates before, so it’s quite natural and I wasn’t with him for too long a period at Arsenal.
“It’ll probably be weird before and after but, in the game, it’s just Chelsea versus Arsenal.
“And, captains-wise, he and Martin aren’t the loudest of talkers, they both try to do it on the pitch and Martin has shown that this year and is doing really well. They’re not too dissimilar but obviously Martin at the minute is flying high.”
Important player for the Gunners
In our opinion, Martin Odegaard is one of the best and most important players at Arsenal.
The 23-year-old playmaker is the Arsenal captain, and he is leading by example on the pitch.
One of the reasons why the Gunners are doing so well in the Premier League at the moment is the form of Odegaard.
The Norwegian has scored four goals and provided two assists in 11 Premier League appearances for the North London club so far this season.
