Rafael Leao & Bruno Guimaraes have reacted on Instagram after Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes earned his first Brazil cap.
The 25-year-old started for Brazil as they comfortably beat Bolivia 5-1 in their World Cup qualifier on Saturday morning.
It was a proud moment for Gabriel Magalhaes because this road to representing his country hasn’t been easy.
Ironically enough, in terms of form for Arsenal, in past seasons, he has been in far better positions than he is in now, but the time Mikel Arteta drops him to the bench, he gets that call-up.
Either way, it is deserved because this is based upon years and years of work and now it’s a case of keeping that spot.
Nonetheless, when Gabriel took to his Instagram to express his delight at making his debut for Brazil, AC Milan winger Rafael Leao simply wrote ‘fly’, whilst Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes added heart emojis.

Gabriel’s message after making his Brazil debut
“Only God knows how much I’ve waited for this moment!!,” said Gabriel.
“So happy for the debut and the big win!! Thank you Belém do Pará for the incredible energy. Come on Brazil.”
World Cup dream for Gabriel
The 2022 Qatar World Cup was one to forget for Brazil and they will want to put things right for the next edition in the USA.
By the time that comes along, Gabriel will be at the peak of his powers and hoping to be a key member of the squad.
And with Arsenal on the rise on the domestic scene, back in the Champions League, then the £27 million star (Sky Sports) will also be hoping to have a few medals to show for it, so he can increase those chances of being a regular for Brazil.
