TalkSPORT pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor has slammed Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison after the match against Unai Emery’s Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The former Villa striker has said on talkSPORT (5:47pm, May 13, 2023) that Richarlison has been the flop of season.

The 26-year-old Brazil international forward joined Tottenham from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer of 2022.

The former Watford star has made 12 starts and 13 substitute appearances in the league for Spurs.

Richarlison has scored one goal and given three assists in those games.

The £175,000-a-week (SalarySport) Tottenham no. 9 has scored two goals in six UEFA Champions League matches this campaign.

Agbonlahor said about Richarlison: “Look at Richarlison. How many chances he is going to have?

“For me, he is the flop of the season. He is going to cost £60 million. Three goals in 33 games in all competitions.”

Disappointing

In our view, Richarlison has been a disappointment for Tottenham Hotspur this season.

The forward has not always played regularly, and there have also been injury problems.

Tottenham as a team have not been great, and that has affected the Brazilian.

However, we know that Richarlison is a very good player.

And we believe that the Brazil international forward will come good for Tottenham next season.

Spurs fans should not give up on Richarlison.
