The Championship fixtures have been announced for 2016/17, and it looks set to be one of the most competitive campaigns yet.
Leeds United begin with a tricky looking fixture away to QPR, and face Aston Villa twice in December. They face Newcastle at home in November and travel to the Toon in April.
Here is a look at the Whites’ first six fixtures, and our predictions for the results…
QPR (A) – Draw, Birmingham (H) – Win, Fulham (H) – Win, Sheffield Wednesday (A) – Loss, Nottingham Forest (A) – Draw, Huddersfield (H) – Draw

Leeds would be satisfied to come away from their opening fixture with a point, ahead of two winnable home fixtures.
To collect seven point from their opening nine would be a good start, and will take the pressure off new boss Garry Monk ahead of two difficult away games against Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest.
We would back Leeds to get a point away to Forest even if Wednesday may get the better of them, before they host Huddersfield Town.

Leeds have been inconsistent at home and were soundly beaten by the Terriers at Elland Road last season; expecting three wins from their opening three Elland Road games may be expecting too much, so we can see them underwhelming with a draw here.
Just one loss from their opening six games would be a decent start, although they would ideally like to record more than two wins.
Nine points from a possible 18 does not cry immediate promotion form, but they would not discount themselves from the race at an early stage either.
