Robbie Fowler is taking on a management job, at last.

Robbie Fowler is finally taking on his first job in management, five years after applying for the Leeds United job.
Fowler has is set to be appointed as head coach of Brisbane Roar, The Independent report.
Leading the A-League side will be Fowler’s first full-time job in management.
He previously had a spell as player manager of Thai side Muangthong United back in 2011.
Since then the Liverpool legend has craved a return to management, but found opportunities tough to come by.
He applied for the job at his former club Leeds United in 2014, under Massimo Cellino’s stewardship, after Dave Hockaday’s sacking, Sky Sports reported.

He was unsuccessful, with Darko Milanic appointed instead.
More recently, he declared interest in the Bristol Rovers job in December, Sky Sports reported.
Now Fowler has the management chance he wanted, and will want to make the most of it.
Who knows, a chance at Leeds in the future could still come his way if he is successful.
