The next few years will bring plenty of moments that reveal just how content players are with their move to LIV Golf, especially as the league enters contract discussions with those who left the PGA Tour.
Despite a slow start in terms of fan interest, many players do not seem to regret making the switch to LIV. The financial incentives and lighter schedules have been big draws, even if the league has not quite taken off in popularity yet.
Brooks Koepka’s comment earlier this year about LIV not being where it should be was a rare bit of criticism from within. Most of what comes out of the league is overwhelmingly positive.
It could be genuine satisfaction among the players, but there is always going to be some scepticism about whether everyone feels comfortable speaking openly while still under contract.
Kevin Na speaks on whether he regrets joining LIV Golf

Since then, Hudson Swafford has spoken about having second thoughts after making the move, while Eugenio Chacarra criticised LIV after his contract wasn’t renewed for this season. Still, it’s hard to imagine either of them would’ve turned down a new deal if one had been offered before they left.
Kevin Na made the switch from the PGA Tour in 2022. The 41-year-old had five wins on tour before moving over and is now captain of the Iron Heads in LIV.
Speaking on The Colin Cowherd Podcast, Na made it clear that he stands by his decision to sign with LIV Golf.
“I love going to these Asian countries and playing. For me obviously being Asian, the Asian fans are going to feel like a bit more of a home crowd,” he said.
“Speaking of families in the past few years, it is hard to travel with three kids internationally, but we have taken one or two or at times three to these different countries.
“I was able to show my kids different parts of the world at a young age and I think that’s very cool for them to learn different cultures and experience it.
“I think it really opens their eyes to the world. We really enjoy that experience.
“I will be honest, I have never been happier at home. My golf game honestly has not been that great, but I feel in the last few rounds something has clicked and I think I am about to go on a good run of golf. But at home I am home more often for my kids, I get to travel the world with my family.
“Looking back at it now, I think it was a great decision. I have talked about this with my wife and when we go back two and a half, three years ago, we go back and if we had a time machine would we make the same decision? The answer is yes.”
Kevin Na’s performance on LIV Golf this season
Kevin Na is yet to make a big impact on LIV, and he needs a stronger finish this year just to avoid relegation. The league has already made it clear that players will be dropped if they finish too low in the standings.
He’s currently 44th and hasn’t cracked the top 30 in any of his last seven tournaments.
Na has often found himself near the bottom, though Iron Heads did put together a surprising run at last year’s Team Championship. They managed wins over Brooks Koepka’s Smash and Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers in Dallas.
This year, however, Iron Heads are facing another tough road. They’re currently sitting at the bottom of the table and have not finished higher than eighth all season.
