Leeds United are yet to address serious first team concerns.
Leeds United have made five additions this month already – but fans are growing increasingly impatient.
This is because just one – Laurens De Bock – is for the first team, with Yosuke Ideguchi sent on loan, and Aapo Halme, Oliver Sarkic and Kamil Miazek signed for the under-23 squad.
On the pitch results have not been kind, this month Leeds have been knocked out of the FA Cup by a League Two side and dropped out of the play-off Championship spots.
During this time star man Samu Saiz has picked up a six game ban for spitting and defender Luke Ayling has picked up a season ending injury.
Indeed it was only this injury to Ayling which prompted the club to buy Laurens De Bock, allowing them to re-shuffle their options defensively.
Last January Andrea Radrizzani took 50 per cent ownership of the club and did not invest in the transfer window.
As a result Leeds ended up missing out on the play-offs, while rivals Huddersfield went on to win promotion.
In the summer Radrizzani spent money on buying back Elland Road with great fanfare, and the groundwork for future success was seen to be being laid.
But 12 months on Leeds are in a strong position in the league, seventh place, and the investment is not yet here.
The signings which have been made speak of strategy for the future, but Leeds have a real opportunity within their grasp now, and the fanbase wants to see the club capitalise and not let it pass them by.
