Stuart Armstrong
The Celtic winger has hit his stride under Brendan Rodgers this season.
With eleven goals and seven assists to his name, Armstrong’s recent displays were recognised with his first international call-up for Scotland. Despite his improved form, Celtic might be tempted into selling the 24-year-old as he enters the final year of his contract.
Keiran Tierney
Armstrong’s Celtic teammate is one of the hottest prospects in European football.
The 19-year-old left-back would provide West Brom with a natural fullback option and add some youth to their ageing backline. If Albion did move for Tierney they would face stiff competition from the Premier League’s top sides.
Tony Gallacher
Tierney isn’t the only young left-back turning heads in Scottish football.
Falkirk defender Gallacher has been linked with moves to Sunderland and Barcelona in recent months. The attack-minded 17-year-old has featured six times for the Championship side this season and bagged two assists in the away win over Raith Rovers in January.
Matthew Knox
If West Brom made a move for Knox in the summer, he wouldn’t be the first young talent to switch the Almondvale Stadium for The Hawthorns. Midfielder Graham Dorrans proved to be a bargain for Tony Mowbray after joining from Livingston in 2008.
Knox certainly has the potential to make a similarly smooth transition to English football. The 17-year-old forward had a trial with Manchester United in January and will likely attract more interest at the end of the campaign.
