Graeme Murty warned his Glasgow Rangers squad that they are now playing for their futures.

Graeme Murty has warned the Rangers squad that he is currently in temporary charge of that they are now playing for their futures at Ibrox (via Evening Times).

But which members of the first-team should be particularly concerned about his warning? Here are five that have perhaps got some work to do before the club make another appointment…

Rob Kiernan

The defender has been widely criticised this term, so he will surely need to step up his game considerably in the coming months if he hopes to win the fans over. The next manager may well take the Ibrox faithful’s opinions on board.

Philippe Senderos

Like Kiernan, Philippe Senderos has struggled this season. And given the fact that his career history may well mean that he is currently pocketing a healthy wage, his form needs to improve significantly.

Andy Halliday

Shortly after Joey Barton’s departure, Andy Halliday enjoyed a run in the side that suggested that he could become a talisman for Rangers. However, his performances have since dipped and fans appear to be convinced that he is not a player who can be a leader in the middle of the park.

Joe Dodoo

Joe Dodoo was touted for a bright future when he arrived at Ibrox last summer. But while his performance against Partick Thistle in November gave supporters hope, there has been little of note from his other appearances.

Kenny Miller

It may seem odd to suggest that Kenny Miller could be fighting for his future given that his form has been considerably better than many of his teammates this term, but due to his age and the fact that his contract expires this summer (via transfermarkt), he may need a few goals between now and the end of the campaign to convince the next boss that he still has something to offer.
