Leeds United clinched their seventh signing of the summer yesterday by bringing in Luke Ayling.

Leeds United clinched their seventh signing of the summer this week as they signed versatile defender Luke Ayling from Bristol City.

With deficiencies in the squad highlighted by a 3-0 opening day defeat to QPR, more additions are expected before the end of the transfer window.

Bryan Verboom

HITC Sport understand Zulte Waregem defender Bryan Verboom is being lined up by Leeds United as a potential replacement for Charlie Taylor.

Belgian defender Verboom, 24, is also being monitored by Cardiff City, West Brom and Hull, and would cost £2 million.

Walsall left-back Rico Henry is considered as the best left-back talent in League One and an ideal replacement for Charlie Taylor.

The Mirror reported in July that Leeds are taking a keen interest in the defender, and if Taylor’s future takes another twist then they may decide to follow up.
