Everton fans were left fairly happy with their transfer business in the summer. Yannick Bolasie, Idrissa Gana Gueye and Ashley Williams all arrived. Meanwhile, Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku were held on to.

However, Everton did miss out on a few names as well. So who did they target last summer, that may want to consider again?

Yacine Brahimi looked all set for an Everton move. However, hard negotiators Porto wanted more than the £34 million bid on the table, according to The Sun.

The 27-year-old wanted the move and his form has been strong this season, especially from the left-wing. Everton should certainly consider making another move if Porto are in the mood for negotiations.

Then there is Kalidou Koulibaly of Napoli and Senegal. The 25-year-old powerhouse centre-back was linked with a big-money move to England in the summer. He would be a very welcome addition this summer as centre-back remains an area for strengthening in the Everton squad.

Other names linked in the summer include Marko Arnautovic, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Christian Benteke. The former two of would also be welcome at Goodison Park, but the Crystal Palace man perhaps not.

But if any of the first four names mentioned ended up at Goodison Park most Everton fans would be happy.
