According to The Telegraph, Liverpool Sporting Director, Michael Edwards, is a target for PSG.
Edwards has done a fantastic job at Liverpool, building a team capable of winning the Champions League and the Premier League, and if he heads to Paris, he could look to raid his former club. After all, this current squad were almost all signed by Edwards and he knows the players very well.
With that in mind, we’re going to look at five Liverpool players Edwards could take to PSG with him.
Mohamed Salah

Liverpool fans certainly won’t like to hear this one.
Salah isn’t signing a new contract yet because he wants more money, and if it’s a better pay-packet he’s looking for, then PSG may be the club for him.
The Ligue 1 giants will need a new attacker if Kylian Mbappe is to make his long-anticipated move to Real Madrid this summer, and Salah could be just the player for PSG.
Sadio Mane

The arrival of Luis Diaz could see Sadio Mane pushed down the pecking order, and with Mane being a right-footer who plays off of the left, he would be a much more natural Mbappe replacement for PSG.
Mane is also entering the final year of his contract, and a move to PSG could be on the cards.
Ibrahima Konate

Konate has only just arrived at Anfield, so it’s unlikely that he’ll be leaving anytime soon. However, a few years down the line a move to PSG could be on the cards, especially if Edwards is at Parc des Princes.
Konate was born in the French capital, and if he wants to return closer to his home, a move to PSG could be perfect for him.
Roberto Firmino

Michael Edwards named Firmino as his favourite signing for Liverpool in his statement when he announced his departure from Anfield, and with the Brazilian falling out of favour on Merseyside, he could be on the move.
Just like Salah and Mane, Firmino is entering the final year of his contract, and after starting just eight league games this season, the attacker could be on his way out of Anfield.
Thiago Alcantara

Thiago has been exceptional for Liverpool this season, but a move to Paris could entice him as he looks to add more trophies to his collection.
He’s already a La Liga winner and a Bundesliga winner, and if he wins the Premier League this year, he may look to add a Ligue 1 title to his collection.
Edwards going to Paris would, of course, make a move viable, but there is a much stronger connection for Thiago at PSG – his brother Rafinha is already contracted to the club and the idea of playing alongside his brother may be something that is enticing for Thiago.
