Rangers-linked Motherwell forward Louis Moult has been recognised for his goalscoring exploits.

As confirmed on their official website on Tuesday, Motherwell striker Louis Moult has won the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership player of the month award.
Moult, 25, enjoyed a remarkable September, scoring five goals in five games in all competitions, including braces against Motherwell and Aberdeen.
The striker’s exploits in September have now been rewarded with the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership player of the month award, with even his league record of three goals in four outings impressive enough.

Moult has become the first Motherwell player to win the award since Michael Higdon back in April 2014, but the problem for Stephen Robinson’s side is that Moult’s exploits may just attract even more interest.
Moult’s contract with Motherwell will expire at the end of the season, and with no sign of the striker signing a new deal, he could walk away on a free contract at the end of the season.
The former Wrexham and Stoke City man can sign a pre-contract agreement in January, and whilst a host of clubs may be keen, Rangers should be pushing for a move.

The Scottish Sun recently reported that Rangers are vying for Moult’s signature in January, and his continued goalscoring form for Motherwell suggests that he would be a smart addition to the Rangers front line.
Alfredo Morelos has impressed since his summer move from HJK Helsinki, but Eduardo Herrera has yet to really get going, and continued confusion over Kenny Miller’s future means a striker with experience of scoring in Scotland is needed.
Moult fits the bill, and Rangers should certainly attempt a cut-price deal in January inside the final six months of his Motherwell contract, or agree a pre-contract agreement to sign him for nothing, giving Pedro Caixinha the additional goal threat he still needs in his revamped Rangers squad.
