Celtic could be offered Valere Germain in exchange for Moussa Dembele.

Celtic’s priority this week will be to bring in new signings, but they may now be fearing losing striker Moussa Dembele before Friday’s transfer deadline.
The Bhoys need reinforcements for boss Brendan Rodgers, with a number of players being linked with moves to Celtic Park, though one rumour suggests a player could be lined up for an exit.
France Football report that Marseille are looking to lure Celtic striker Moussa Dembele back to France, and may be willing to offer cash plus Valere Germain to seal a deal.
Celtic fans may not be too familiar with Germain, the striker who may well head to Glasgow in part-exchange for Dembele, so here are five facts about the player Celtic may well need to consider this week.
1. The son of former French international Bruno Germain, Valere was born in Marseille but started his career with the likes of Orelans and Chateauroux before heading on to Monaco in 2005.
2. Germain racked up more than 200 appearances for Monaco and hit 53 goals, including 17 in his final season for the club as he moved on to Marseille in the summer of 2017.

3. Germain thrived with his hometown club last season and again showed his goalscoring talent by hitting 18 goals in all competitions, featuring prominently in Marseille’s run to the Europa League final.
4. The only other club Germain has played for is Nice, having spent the 2015-16 season on loan there, and again showed how he can thrive as a goalscorer, notching 14 goals in 41 outings.
5. Germain has never been capped by France but does have eight caps for his country at youth level, and also has two honours to his name; the 2013 Ligue 2 title and 2017 Ligue 1 title, both with Monaco.
