Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a double swoop on Dinamo Zagreb.
As yet unconfirmed reports stemming from Croatia have claimed Tottenham have secured the signings of duo Tin Jedvaj and Alen Halilovic in a double swoop on Dinamo Zagreb.
Both are teenagers, but ones rated at a particularly high standard. Jedvaj is a defender, and one recently linked also with Arsenal and Roma.
Halilovic himself deserves a fresh look in his own right, an incredibly talented prospect.
Here are five facts about the player Tottenham are hoping to sign:
1) Halilovic is a recently turned 17-year-old attacking midfielder who has been likened to Luka Modric for his slight frame and playing style.
2) His dad Sejad Halilovic was a footballer who played for Real Valladolid in La Liga, and also international football for both Yugoslavia and Croatia.
3) Alen Halilovic became the youngest ever player in the Croatian league when he made his debut last September, later becoming the league’s youngest ever scorer.
4) Left-footer Halilovic has played in the Champions League for his club, making three substitute appearances.
5) He made his international debut earlier this month while still 16, appearing in a 1-0 loss to Portugal.
